How is that, to work 12 month in a foreign country? To live in a family, who does not speak your native language? To look after children, who had never seen you before? The Au Pair Program offer young people from all over the world possibility of long-term living abroad their homeland, learning the local language – and saving the money, because hosting families covers a lot of expenses. In the same time every Au Pair have to go through a lot of stress because of radical change of their environment and necessity, to adapt in a foreign culture as fast as possible. In my photoproject I want to show how you live: young people from different lands, who came to Germany to work as Au Pair.
